Failure...Again! Professional Workshop


In a workshop, librarians in the Cache Valley will be meeting for an interdisciplinary discussion of failure. Although the focus of the discussion will be intended for implementation by librarians, those of other disciplines are welcome to attend.

Saturday, April 30, 9:00-11:30 AM
North Logan City Library (475 E 2500 N North Logan)

‣ Frank discussion will be conducted about how to cope with mistakes, accept imperfection, and learn from failure.
‣ Participants will learn from attendees of the recent Utah Library Association Strikethrough Failure Workshop and two guest presenters:

Mark Lee Koven – Assistant professor in the USU Art + Design department will discuss failure as it’s perceived in the art community.

Pat Sadoski – Trained nurse will speak on what losses and challenges seniors face in our community and how we might learn from these experiences.
