"Amendments to these bylaws may be proposed any time during the year.
Amendments may be proposed during a business meeting or via email to a
member of the Executive Committee. In either case, the Executive
Committee will post upcoming amendments for consideration on the CVLA
website a minimum of 45 days before being voted on in a business
meeting. To pass an amendment requires 2/3 “yes” vote by members present
at the business meeting targeted to vote on the amendment; members
unable to attend that meeting may cast a vote in absentia by emailing it
to the CVLA secretary no later than one day prior to that business
meeting."

Author Visit!
We're excited to present "Evening with An Author" featuring Tiffany Rosenhan! This event will be on
Tuesday, September 14 at 7:00 PM in the Logan High School Auditorium at 162 W 100 S (Logan, UT). CVLA has hosted many author events since its founding in 2012, including Jan Brett, Jennifer Nielsen, Nathan Hale, and Jan Pinborough. This event is free and open to the public.
Tiffany Rosenhan, granddaughter of Oscar-winning screen writer Mary Astor (The Maltese Falcon), lives in Millcreek, Utah with her husband, who works as a critical care physician, and four young daughters. Girl From Nowhere (released July 2020) is her debut novel about which Booklist says “Heartpounding international action fuels this novel at an unrelenting pace... Thoroughly different from most YA offerings. . . (a) twisting, turning thriller from beginning to end.”
Tiffany Rosenhan will be spending most of the day at Logan High School working with students before her evening presentation.

March Email Meeting
The survey will be open for submissions until Sunday March 21, after which we'll aggregate the responses and send those out for everyone to comment on. This will be a great opportunity for us to share our expertise and experiences with each other!
The results will be sent out March 26th, and while anyone is welcome to respond anytime that weekend, the "official meeting" day will be Tuesday March 30. We hope this format is flexible enough that everyone who wants to can participate, and we hope to hear from you soon!
