Congratulations to Paul Daybell, our 2019 Library Hero!
Several CVLA members nominated him together for his work at both North Logan City Library, and USU's Merrill-Cazier Library. The award was presented on January 19. From the nomination statements:
"Paul deserves to be named the CVLA Library Hero for his continued work within CVLA and all that he does and stands for within the library profession."

Library Hero Award
Do you know a library hero? Is there someone in the library
profession or the Cache Valley community who deserves the title of
"Library Hero"? Then, nominate them for the CVLA Library Hero Award!
Examples of library service include:
- working or volunteering in libraries
- developing new, innovative, pertinent, or effective library programming
- promoting libraries
- standing up for library principles in a challenging situation
- completing library related projects

The
deadline for submissions is January 14, 2019 and the award will be
presented at the January meeting of the Cache Valley Library
