Utah State Library Seeking Board Member
The Utah State Library needs a new board member starting in September 2019. Apply here!
From the Utah State Library:
Carrie Valdes of the Grand County Library will have been on the board for 8 (count 'em) years. We appreciate all she has done to help shape Utah's libraries. Thank you Carrie!

We need at least one new board member. If you or someone in your library community wishes to apply, please do so online. It is the Governor that makes the appointment and it's highly prestigious!
Areas of special interest include: someone who works in a library, someone from a rural area, a school librarian, or someone with diversity background or experience.
We meet quarterly and there may be other things you are called on to do. See more about the board here.
