2026 Bikes to Books & Potluck in the Park

The 2026 Bikes to Books ride is happening Saturday, June 20th, from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m., starting and ending at Adams Park (550 N 500 E, Logan). This year's ride is to and from Logan Library (roughly 3 miles round trip on primarily flat paved roads) and will include stops at several free little libraries along the way. Riders of all ages and experience are welcome!

Whether you join in on the bike ride or not, make sure to stop by the CVLA Potluck in the Park for food and friends at Adams Park Pavilion starting at 6:00 pm. Don't forget to bring the fam!

For those who need transportation for themself or their bike, check out nearby Connect public transit (CVTD) routes and stops.

Hope to see you there!!

Things to note: the route is downhill and flat – total distance of about 7.5 miles! Times listed are approximate. The Little Free Libraries are really clever and cute! Some of the owners will be able to come out and talk to us briefly about their libraries. Feel free to ride with the group or on your own. We can work out carpooling or take the CVTD buses to get back to the start to get vehicles.

Please bring:
Yourself! | Your bike | A helmet | Water | (optional) snacks for the ride, lunch for the picnic | sunscreen or other sun protection | You also might want to bring a book to donate to a Little Free Library (very optional)
