Annual Bikes to Books Ride

Come join in the 2025 Bikes to Books Ride! We will be riding a total of 7.5 miles from Lewiston Library to Richmond Library (with a stop at Casper's Ice Cream to refuel) and then finishing at Big J Burgers in Richmond.

There will be a support/shuttle vehicle available.

Bring your bike, a water bottle and helmet, and be ready to visit several Cache libraries and enjoy a leisurely ride in the Cache Valley countryside!

Non-riders are welcome to join in! We will be at:
  • Lewiston Library until 10:30 (meet here starting at 10:00!)
  • Casper's Ice Cream just before 11:00
  • Richmond Library 11:40
  • Big J Burgers 12:15

Bike Tour 2015

We're holding our 2nd annual bike tour ("Bikes to Books") on Saturday, June 13. Feel free to join us for the entire route or only a part of it. You'll definitely want to meet up with the riders around 3:30 PM when they roll into Casper's Ice Cream in Richmond and stop for a break! You can find a route map here.

The schedule:

9:00 - 9:30 At Richmond Library (38 W Main St, Richmond)
9:30 - 11:00 Bike to Smithfield Library (Google says 56 minutes, 12 miles)
11:00 - 11:30 At Smithfield Library (25 N Main St, Smithfield)
11:30 - 12:30 Bike to Newton Library (Google says 48 minutes, 10 miles)
12:30 - 1:00 At Newton Library (51 S Center St, Newton)
1:00 - 2:30 Bike to Lewiston Library (Google says 1 hour and 20 minutes, 16 miles)
2:30 - 3:00 At Lewiston Library (29 S Main St, Lewiston)
3:00 - 3:30 Bike to Casper's (Google says 20 minutes, 4 miles)
3:30 - 4:15 At Casper's (11805 North 200 East, Richmond)
4:15 - 4:55 Bike to Richmond Library (Google says 35 minutes, 3 miles)

Snacks and drinks will be provided at each library. Don't forget to bring your own lunch, water, helmet, and sunscreen. There will be a support van & bike available.
